This product is prepared as per traditional Ayurvedic standards. This means the micro pulverized powder of the herb impregnates with its own juice or decoction by trituration (bhavna). The trituration accentuates hidden medicinal properties of the herb and to ensure that the herb, as soon as administered, is absorbed quickly at the cell level. Subtlety should be the quality by virtue of which a product can penetrate in to the smallest capillary and channels of the biological system.

As per Ayurveda

It is a combination of Ayurvedic herbs with Guggulu which are used in Ayurveda for healthy movements of joints due to high Vata (Air), Dosha (Humour) & Ama (undigested food) toxin. This combination helps in proper digestion of Ama (undigested food) & balance the Vata (Air) Dosha (Humour).

Simhanada Guggulu helps in healthy movement of joints. It helps to control the formation of Ama (undigested food) - flatulence due to undigested food.

Guggul (Commiphora Mukul) Gum Resin Purified Haritaki (Terminalia Chebula) Fruit, Bibhitaki (Terminalia Bellerica) Fruit, Amla (Emblica Officinalis) Fruit, Castor (Ricinus Communis) Root.

All the herbs used in this product have safe history of usage in Ayurveda since the time immemorial. They have very unique benefits with unique herbal properties.

Combined effects of all these herbs formulated in such a way that help to bring all three Doshas (Humors) Vata (air), Pitta (fire) and Kapha (water) in their natural balanced state.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Serving Size:

Adults: To maintain daily morning regularity one should take two capsules of Simhanada Guggulu two times daily. It is usually administered with hot water. Once the person enjoys the benefits from Simhanada Guggulu, then he should be given Triphala before retiring for the night.

Best Use With: A teaspoonful of "Triphala Churna" / 1 "Triphala Capsule" is beneficial if taken with a cup of hot water. One can add a teaspoonful of sugar to the mixture for taste.

Our other products that may be beneficial for external use with Simhanada Guggulu are:

"Maha Narayan Oil" or "Maha Vishgarba Oil" or "Flexn Oil".

These should be used for gentle massage over the joints. Due to hot potency they provide warmth to the joints and the skin absorbs the oil thereby providing flexibility to the joints.

Contraindications: Guggulu Products are contraindicated in Pregnant and lactating women. Pregnant and lactating women should consult a physician before taking this supplement. Do not use in case of Bleeding and Hyper Tendency.

Special Note: While taking Guggulu product, one should take bath with lukewarm water. A person suffering from any type of Joint Pains should wear warm clothes.

Foods to Favor

Low salt diet, Green Vegetables (Bitter Gourd, Bottle Gourd, Ridge Gourd, Snake Gourd), Wheat, Green Gram Soup, Fenugreek Seed Powder, Old cereals of barley, Wheat, Sali (Brownish Rice - A variety of good rice) and Meat Soup (Soups of pigeon pea if available), Lentils added with plenty of ghee are recommended.

Highly vitiated Vata (Air), without involving Pitta (Fire) and Kapha (Water) should be managed with intake of "Ghee" (in Vegetables/Soups), Meat-soups and other fat enhancing substances.

Note: Any kind of meat should be limited or avoided but meat soup with plenty of ghee is beneficial because it provides lubrication to the body which is very beneficial for Vata (Air) because Vata (Air) makes the joint dry and stiff if aggravates in joints muscles.

Foods to Avoid

Avoid eating of pungent things (Black Gram, Lentil-Astringent but pungent after digestion), Hot Food (Which is too warm to touch and also hot in potency), Heavy Food (Taken in too much quantity or which takes too much time to digest), Channel Blocking Food (Curd/Yogurt), Sour Things (Corn, Canned Food, Rice).

Avoid High Protein Diet like Pulses, Black Gram, All Meats, Sea Foods, Acidic/Salty Food, Canned Food, Plain Egg, Curry, Egg-Curry, Fish-Curry, Alcohol/Wine, Plain/Fried Rice, Pickles, Cough productive products (Milk products except milk by itself), Cold Drinks/Soft Drinks, Ice Cream, Cold Weather. The consumption of the above mentioned foods should be limited or avoided if possible.

Note: If you are using milk, better put approximately 100 ml water to 200 ml milk, 1 gram Ginger Powder/Raw Ginger and 2 to 3 grams of "Turmeric Powder" boil it and consume it while warm. Ginger – is sedative (Provides Calmness) and turmeric is carminative and demulcent (Acts as a barrier for inflamed tissues). Due to these properties of ginger and turmeric lot of relief cab is had.

Do’s:

  • Increase the consumption of fruits and vegetables.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Do any physical activities for at least 30 minutes.

Don’ts:

  • With intake of guggul avoid excessive sun exposure, excessive exhaustion, alcohol, sex, anger, sour & sharp indigestible food.

Factors to consider

Wild crafted herbs from their natural habitat without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or preservatives.

Our naturally grown wild crafted herbs come from their natural habitat. Aborigine also plays its role in the efficacy of the herb. The properties of herb may differ from region to region. Satveda makes every effort to collect the herbs from their aborigines. Natural habitat plays a key role in the potency of herbs, which is why we use wild crafted herbs, as opposed cultivated ones. Every herb is collected from its natural habitat as naturally grown herbs are assumed to be more potent.

Proper harvest time for higher potency is another key factor.

We highly advocate the harvesting of herbs at the most appropriate time of ripening. No immature plants , no over ripped plants are selected. Herbs at their youth possess the maximum potency and we try our best to procure the herbs at that particular time period. There are guidelines for collection of different herbs at different times and there is a particular span of time for collecting herbs.

Using purified water: Water used also stands out as a major role player. Water is processed under DM plant, RO plant then converted into steam. That steam water is used in the processing of herbs to avoid any chance of heavy metal contamination.

Authentic and Unfeigned Herb: Every herb is collected, tested for its genuineness and strength of its active constituents. Naturally-grown herbs are preferable to cultivated herbs. Ancient Ayurveda has suggested many methods for analyzing the various herbs, but at that time herbs were used in their original form to powder, pills or juice of fresh herbs or distillate of herbs. All the suggestions and methods for identifying a particular herb were physical and taste based. Now, since a lot of work has been done, chemical tests are available for identification of true herbs and quantity of active constituents. We are equipped with a modern plant, machinery and quality assurance system and the herbs are tested for their complete strength, efficacy and safety. Good manufacturing practices are applied with a neat, clean and sanitary environment. Herbs are procured in season and stored in extract form. All the requirements regarding purity, quality and efficacy are totally complied with and given top priority from the time of procurement till ready for consumption.

Extraction of Herbs: Extracts are prepared either with water or according to the solubility of active principle of the herb. We extract each herb according to its own unique physical and biochemical characteristics. While drying these extracts forms of the herb, we go one step ahead and we dry most of the extracts with the micronized powder of the same herb. This increases the strength of the extract and the extracts get easier to dry. Less chances to take moisture from air.

We do not add any additive, any color, any preservative, filler or any other external or foreign agent or any other material except the HERB itself.

Our belief and practice means only the HERB and its extracts.

This attention to detail produces a finished extract that optimally represents the herb from which it is made. Our extracts are absolute rich in terms of aroma and taste and contain bioactive compounds of the original herbs themselves. They are easily and optimally absorbed and assimilated by the body, and therefore their health-promoting effects are promptly felt.

Vegetarian capsules are cellulose based capsule shells that are used to encapsulate the material. Vegetarian capsules are made from a substance called HPMC, which stands for hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (often shortened to hypromellose). This contains no animal matter (unlike gelatin capsules) and is suitable for all.

One of the benefits of having capsules is that capsules have a consistent disintegration time, typically less than 30 minutes i.e. the capsule shell takes about 30 minutes to disintegrate once it has been eaten. Another benefit of taking capsules is that the capsule shell offers excellent protection for oxygen sensitive ingredients so capsulated supplements will stay fresher longer.
