Recommended Dosage And Safety Precautions
For safe and effective use:
Internal Use (Oral Consumption)
- Start with 1 gram once or twice daily with water after meals.
- Gradually increase the dosage based on individual tolerance, up to a maximum of 3 grams (approximately 3/4 teaspoon) twice daily.
- You can also take Babchi Churna with honey and water after lunch and dinner.
Note: Overconsumption may cause nausea, diarrhea, or digestive discomfort. Always consult a qualified practitioner before starting or adjusting dosage.
External Use (Topical Application):
- Start with 1 gram of Babchi powder mixed with a suitable carrier oil (such as coconut or sesame oil) to form a paste.
- Apply to the affected area as needed. Increase gradually if well tolerated.
Patch Test for External Use
Babchi is a powerful herb and may cause redness, dryness, or skin irritation, especially for those with sensitive skin.
Patch Test Instructions:
- Mix a small amount of Babchi powder with a carrier oil.
- Apply to a small patch of skin on the inner forearm.
- Wait 24 hours.
- If irritation, itching, or inflammation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider.
General Health Warnings & Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
- Overuse may lead to digestive issues, nausea, or diarrhea.
- Excessive or long-term use may affect liver or kidney health.
